How much more ‘bad news’ can this company take and still survive? It’s time for a rewrite on Musk’s Tesla.

Even more significant than the fires themselves, it’s been reported to us that firefighters and other emergency personnel are being directed to avoid interacting with a burning or significantly damaged Tesla.
The ramifications of this are terrifying. Will you be left in a vehicle because the emergency crews have been directed to NOT USE the Jaws of Life for fear of explosion or more fire?
We all admire and fund [with our purchases] great new technology. But if Tesla isn’t ready for ‘prime time’ then let’s err on the side of the consumer and go back to the drawing board instead of having electric, self-driving cars on our roads as a running driving experiment.
It’s just not prudent: Not for the company — and most certainly not for the consumer.
